Introduction

Dear readers, we’ve been lying to you. Our efforts here have thus far created the lie, one we’ve silently perpetuated for weeks now. I do hope you’ll forgive us. We’ve just gone along with the fiction we’ve created and have remained silent as it took root. It’s not quite as horrible as collusion with publishers to conceal putrid product until the masses have purchased, but it’s close. You see, dear readers, we’ve let you believe that all JAV is good. For that, we apologize.

Histrionics and humor aside, it’s undeniably true that we deliberately started off on a positive note and have avoided mediocre and execrable films. It’s led to an impression of Japan as a paradise of bosom films, but we’ll correct that now. 



The Actress

Saaya Nakamura is nothing to write home about. According to what I’ve understood, she’s a married physical education teacher and ex-volleyball player, so she’s ridiculously tall, a little shy of six feet. Now, one thing people have probably noticed about volleyball players – all their growth went into their height. As you’d expect, Saaya Nakamura is not an exception. Her figure resembles a bean pole, with nothing on top or on the bottom. Further, her face is not one to launch a thousand ships. In fact, I’m doubtful of how long it’s been since she hit the volleyball court in earnest, given her lack of the lady two-pack. Well, at least her legs seem to be there.

One thing I’ll say about JAV is that it’s a land of opportunity compared to the West. This means that as long as the talent fits with whatever theme the marketing department or casting director decides on for a given movie, she will be hired. However, that also means performance talent is optional, but more on that later.

The Performance

Alright, this is an AV Debut, but to hell with it. This was pretty awkward to watch and judging from how fast the introduction was, the director and his editing department agreed. We spend a total of six minutes interacting with our debuting Saaya Nakamura before one of the dudes paid to have sex with her enters to do so. He is performing the role of a fellow physical education teacher, so fine. Next, she… well, forgets about the audience.

You will have noticed in past reviews that I pay attention to how well the actress plays to the viewers, and Saaya Nakamura does not do a good job of that. It seems to me her main concession to that arena is to be as loud in the stereotypically JAV way possible. Audience appeal? She has a scene that starts with masturbation that could be could be counted as playing to the viewer, and she seems to do ok with it.

Story/Theme/Setting

The best part of the film is the reason it would catch your eye in the first place. The film opens with Saaya Nakamura going through the volleyball motions. Her movements are the smooth motions of an athlete familiar with her sport, while I also caught hints of boredom. Unsurprising, given how the crew assisting with creating the film would be unable to provide actual challenge. She even does a few more advanced skills for the hell of it, but… that’s it. That’s all the volleyball you get, about a minute and a half of exhibition.

There are two scenes in the volleyball court, one in a storage room, and two more in what look like a more traditional Japanese room, complete with sliding doors and tatami mats. The two scenes in the more Japanese room throw off the theme – if she’s a teacher, then where would these rooms be? Japanese schools usually aren’t equipped with traditional-looking rooms, except in tea ceremony clubs, but why would she be in there twice? Well, I don’t know enough Japanese to confirm if it’s because they’re disused, but it’s jarring.

Sexual Content

Must I comment on this? Can I not dismiss it with a meh? After heated consultations, Mr. White insists I must I must provide commentary similar in quality to what I’ve provided before, especially after he’s had to endure worse.

Very well, let’s get on with it. Build up is nearly non-existent here, and with debuts, that’s fatal. There’s no reason to anticipate, no momentum or build-up. It’s the film version of premature ejaculation. The first scene is ok. The sexual activity is routine, but there is one part of the scene that stands out. After the initial foreplay/groping, the actor decides he wants a blowjob. Rather than go for routine, he grabs a table, drags it over to the volleyball net, and shoves his penis into an opening at standing level to Saaya Nakamura. It’s actually a fairly macho act and the result is rather hot, since our debut idol’s main skill seems to be toward fellatio. The other fellatio scenes aren’t as good as this.

Speaking of, second scene opens with actress masturbation inside the storage room, where she at least tries to lay to the audience, then concludes with a blowjob. While the first actor was half a head shorter, this guy was a full head shorter. For such a tall lady, that hunched over position looked incredibly uncomfortable. Next two scenes break my minimum boob to ratio rule, with two actors giving Saaya Nakamura a full-body massage that involves oil molestation and fingering, then the succeeding scene is, as an astute reader can guess, the wrong kind of threesome, with the results ending up on her small breasts. Final scene is routine, ends on her face.

Overall

I think the major lesson here is you shouldn’t watch a film by its cover. I initially got this film during an aggressive stage of expansion for my collection. I thought the actress was pretty, based on the cover, but actually viewing resulted in severe disappointment. The end result was mediocre and her career ended up being a grand total of two films. If you have a fetish for tall chicks or volleyball chicks or MILF chicks, this should be an okay addition. Otherwise, don’t.

Review: SOE-808 Passionate Hitwoman Anri Okita

Introduction

When Okita Anri retired, I was filled with great sadness.  Moreso, in fact, because I only recently developed a great appreciation for her.  For whatever reason, I was always distracted by some other idol, and never spent enough time properly enjoying Anri-chan's talent, despite collecting a decent amount of her films.  Luckily, while she may not be producing new content, she still has a mighty back catalog on offer.  With my personal desire to spend some more quality time with her work, coupled with her retirement, I thought it would be a great opportunity to explore some of her past work.

In selecting a film for this review, I delved into Anri-chan's archive to find something that was not only totally hot, but could be held up as an example of one of her finest performances.  I also wanted to look at something from a bit earlier in her career, that more recent JAV fans might not be familiar with.  Let's take a look at this 2012 entry from S No. 1 STYLE, a story-driven piece that holds some unexpected surprises.




The Actress

Debuting in 2011 Okita Anri is a fairly unique JAV idol to begin with, since she is only half Japanese.  Adding to her allure, she is half English, originally from Birmingham, and spent most of her life in the UK.  Thus, perhaps even rarer among JAV idols, she can speak damn good English.  All of these intangible items are great, but when you add them to her gorgeous face and massive Japanese K-cups, she's a total knockout.  Perhaps, when viewed as a complete package, one of the hottest of all JAV idols.  I could get lost all day in those tits, which are some of the all time best ever.  Her ass is pretty awesome as well, big and shapely, especially as JAV idols go, and strongly underrated in my opinion.

However, in JAV, a great physical package will only get you so far.  What really makes Anri-chan rise to the top are her abilities as a performer.  An art student prior to entering the adult world, she's stated in interviews that she's long been captivated by eroticism, and it shows in her performances.  She has utterly mastered seduction, and when it's called for, dominance.  She is one of the best "aggressive" performers when the role calls for it.  We can debate the sum total of her abilities and compare them to other top idols, but when it comes to acting ability and captivating a viewer, I'm hard-pressed to think of anyone who is at her level.

The Performance

Right off the bat, you'll notice something very different about this performance from Anri-chan: she speaks English.  That's right, this is one of the handful of films where her English ability is on display, which fits in with the international secret agent/assassin theme of the film.  Meanwhile, the English narration of her boss is quite awful in a hilarious way, both in terms of the quality of the English as well as the acting.  But Anri-chan is on point, and makes use of her English a few times throughout the film, including during some sex scenes.  The final scene includes the most use of her English, where she is very aggressive and dominating, in almost dominatrix-like manner.

Beyond the novelty of her English use, Anri-chan completely absorbs herself in the role of secret agent.  In several scenes, she practically (and in some cases literally) launches a sex attack on the male actors.  She launches into the sex scenes with an almost unexpected vigor, right from the beginning.  In the first scene, she licks ass, dick and balls like an ice cream cone.  She also slams her pussy down on the male actor's face and dick with an erotic aggression.  In a nice role reversal, she's the one manhandling the men, and not the other way around.  But if you're not into straight up fem-dom, don't worry.  This is an aggressive performance, but does not cross over into the dominatrix realm.  In fact, she spends a good deal of the film receiving a pounding as much as she spends being the dominant partner.

This is nothing short of a signature performance from Anri-chan.  The director of this film clearly understands her best attributes and how to bring out her dominant side.  You can also expect the signature allure that Anri-chan bring to all of her roles, from her seductive expression to the natural eroticism that she demonstrates in her mannerisms.  All in all, you're not likely to find a much better Anri performance, or JAV performance in general.

Story/Theme/Setting

The secret agent genre is one of the most story-driven in all of JAV, because it goes beyond basic cosplay, and even beyond some basic themed roles such as maid or teacher.  The secret agent becomes both a role for the actress to play as well as a driver of the plot.  Sadly, I am far from fluent in Japanese, though I don't think that matters too much as far as story goes, since I'm sure we're hardly getting an Oscar-winning script.  Like all story-driven porn, the key here is having good setup of sex scenes, as well as making use of the theme to have unique or unusual sex scenes.  I have to give huge credit to the filmmakers for utilizing Anri-chan's English abilities, but their creativity does not end there.  There's a scene where she shags her fellow operative rotten while they are on an apparent stakeout.  There's a scene where she infiltrates an enemy's base, disguised as a prostitute.  Then of course there's the most creative scene, where she has to suck and tug her injured comrades in order to revive them.  This is a great execution of the theme.  Perhaps the only drawback is in the final scene, there is no cumshot before she assassinates her enemy.  For that reason, I have to deduct a little here, because a great final scene is critical to me.  To be fair though, everything else about that final scene is quite entertaining.

Sexual Content

In terms of sexual content, this film delivers pretty well.  Despite having a good amount of story, there is little filler here.  The story serves to enhance the sex, and there is plenty of it.  We begin with a nice shot of Anri-chan in the bathtub as she receives her mission briefing, which then moves on to a stakeout scene where she ravages and gets ravaged by her partner.  This scene is a no-holds-barred sexual romp which amps the action up from 0-60 real quick.  When it escalates suddenly from some standard foreplay into her Anri-chan shoving her tongue into her partner's ass, I knew what kind of film she had in store for us.  Beyond that, the opening sex scene is excellent on all fronts, with Anri-chan dominating for much of it but also taking the submissive role.  Of course, her tits are well used and you also get some nice shots of her wonderful ass.  As I said before, I think her ass is underrated (all too common for JAV girls with big racks).  I personally think her ass has a delightful round shape and excellent size, definitely on the larger side for Japanese girls.

I would be remiss if I didn't comment on the highly creative sequence where Anri-chan fellates and tugs her fallen comrades to revive them.  This is a great example of using the creativity of the theme without sacrificing the core need for sexual content, which is also how I feel about the ending scene, where she disguises herself as a prostitute to assassinate her enemy.  As I mentioned, the drawback to that part is the lack of a proper cumshot.  However, I give credit to the filmmakers.  When it comes to genres like this, there is a temptation to get too creative and sometimes this leads to an unsatisfying amount of penetration and pure sexual content.  However, the more "standard" sex scenes are plentiful and Anri-chan gets pounded enough to offset the more creative parts where there is less sex.  It also helps that all of the scenes, both creative and traditional, feature some of Anri-chan's best work.  I can't quite give it a perfect rating because of the ending, but it's damn close.

Overall

There's not much else to say.  This is hands down, one of Anri-chan's best works.  You owe yourself to have it in your collection.  If you are just getting into her, this would make an essential contribution to an Okita Anri starter set.  Despite a few flaws in the film, she is perfect, and I just loved it.  For anyone looking for a great example of some of her earlier work, you can't go wrong here.

Review: TEK-067 Princess Peach Yua Mikami

Introduction

Among the many interesting Japanese subcultures, idoru culture is probably the most familiar, yet confusing, for Westerners.  Currently, a massive number of idol groups compete for the hollow adulation of a limited fan base, a battle royale of who can come up with the gimmick that best appeals to the shrinking Japanese population (gaijin fans generally don’t count). The music is extremely varied, whether it’s a dependable J-pop stalwart like Morning Musume, the atrocity that is BABYMETAL, or remarkably niche 80s ambient synth pop like Tentenko. There’s something for everyone.

However, the one thing that all idols, solo or in groups, have in common is that they sell a fantasy. It’s a common fantasy, one attractive people have sold to their mundane peers since time immemorial: “you have a chance with me.” It goes one step further for idols, who have a “no relationship clause” printed in font size 72 on their contracts. Man or woman, so long as you’re an idol, you sell that fantasy like it’s the last Coca Cola in the desert. Getting caught breaking that clause results in severe consequences, ranging from quiet demotion to public humiliation right down to unemployment.

Kito Momona was a member of SKE48, a sister group to the best-selling female idol group AKB48. In contrast to its sister group, SKE48 was scandal-free…. except for her. She was abruptly busted down from the mid-tier “KII” team (read as K2, since AKB has the original K team) down to “student trainee,” then after year and a half of shame, she was allowed into the headline “S” team. Eight months later, she was "transferred" to the bottom “E” team, only one step removed from “student trainee” status. The reasons for her frequent (and unexplained) demotions became apparent in the summer of 2013, as she was publicly caught on film breaking that unbreakable clause twice in three months. Things died down, she was supposed to be allowed back into the “S” team, but was abruptly “graduated” out before the promotion went into effect. One wonders what she was caught doing that delivered the finishing blow.

About a year after her departure, we got this, her AV debut as Yua Mikami.


The Actress

SKE48 is an idol group designed with girl-next-door appeal, with most performances at the “home” concert hall to truly sell the idea that these are “idols you can meet,” instead of the more unattainable members of acts like Morning Musume. That does not mean that an SKE48 girl lacks media training. From the moment the movie opens, you’re made aware that Yua Mikami is an expert at playing to the camera and the audience watching her behind it. There’s a hint of innocence in her persona, or perhaps more accurately, purity. This purity is that of sensuality, one that does not aim for the slatternly sloppiness that Mr. White adores. Rather, Yua Mikami embodies the pleasure of sex.

Physically, she’s as pretty as the nickname she carried while she was an SKE48 idol, peach princess. She’s a flower in bloom, one the viewer will desire to pick. Her face is oval-shaped, with sweet features that compel the audience to want to kiss her. Frankly, it seems a waste that the directors chose not place a flower in hair during this film. Her body is long and slender, with a pair of lovely breasts on her petite frame perfectly sized to cup, one in each hand. Vocally, she has a breathy little voice the viewer cannot help but like, particularly during sex.

The Performance

Technically, this is an AV Debut, but it’s hard to call it such when the actress herself is a pro of the entertainment industry. She already knows what the audience wants; it’s the same thing they’ve wanted from her for her entire career. She has spent years toying with that audience, using innuendo, hints, flirtations. There is nothing she needs to build up anymore. She can deliver what’s been begged from her, but she will do it at her own pace.

It’s fairly clear that even when she was under her contract in her SKE48 days, Yua Mikami did not live like a Catholic nun. Or perhaps the metaphor works better if I say shrine maiden? It would not be surprising if her promotion back to the “S” team involved frequent encounters with senior executives and her demotions involved liaisons with those in her own age group.

Digression aside, Yua Mikami knows what she’s about. Even as she plays the ingénue and flutters her eyelashes at the viewer, she demonstrates good sexual skills and excellent audience appeal. She might not be a pro on Yuma Asami’s tier, but she’s a natural, giving a performance far better than the average AV Debut. It makes me wonder if Anri Okita did as well in her debut. Hmm…

Before I forget, on the strength of her debut film, she acquired the Best Newcomer of the Year Award at the 2016 DMM.R18 Adult Awards. Let me repeat: Yua Mikami managed to secure the award despite possessing only one AV during the time frame considered by the award committee.

Story/Theme/Setting

Initially, I was going to call the setting the least impressive part of the film, but I reconsidered when I did a quick review of the debuts of other fallen idols. Those films usually involve only references to their past careers while following the well-trodden steps of the standard debut film, but this one tosses that idea. Instead, the movie embraces the conventions of the typical non-nude gravure and idol videos and gives them a definitive JAV twist.

The film opens with a false press conference, which my rudimentary grasp of the Japanese language suggests is about as lewd and provocative as you’d expect from JAV. Yua Mikami plays along and never loses her smile as she provides the combination of bemusement and mild disbelief a girl next door would feel at being accosted in such manner. Then comes the first of the idol/gravure homages, which serve as breaks in between the sexual scenes. The first of these is a normal “flirting idol” run, where the girl smiles and flirts with the camera, bringing a smile to the viewer’s face, which makes sense as the idol hasn’t gotten to work yet, so to speak. The second continues off from the first, only this time, Yua Mikami gradually gets naked. Once she’s down to her underwear, she hides behind a translucent window shade which tantalizes with hints of her body without revealing it completely until she’s ready to emerge. The third scene involves a fun bathing scene, where the soap bubbles are removed and reapplied to tease the viewer with her body, and then concludes with a popsicle blowjob which is very hot. Last scene involves her playing around with a hula hoop (during her SKE48 days, hula hoop was her “special skill”) and jumping rope in a swimsuit at least two sizes too big for her, which revels in plenty of nipple slips.

Sexual Content

After a great deal of thought, I think I’ve figured out why this film is so highly rated. To borrow an idiom from Mr. White, its success stems from successful blue-balling. It’s over a half-hour before you see Yua Mikami naked, and another half-hour before you finally see penetration, yet the entire time, you’re kept on-edge, lustful, and in need of relief. The first sexual interaction takes place about twenty minutes in, with a pretty decent exercise in fellatio, but Yua Mikami is fully-clothed throughout, so there’s a concession, but it’s still not everything. For those willing to delay gratification, the succeeding scene results in pay-off, as Yua Mikami delivers her first time... being recorded having sex. It’s a pleasurable scene to watch.

The scene after this is a bit more direct. The setting is a rather minimalist room, something you might see in a brothel or massage parlor, and the scene itself seems rather like a showcase, as she demonstrates above-average skill with paizuri (titjob), footjob, intercrural, and cowgirl. The scene after this is a threesome… the wrong kind of threesome. I did not mention this in my Yuma Asami review, but for me, the minimum boob to penis ratio is 2 to 1, so the higher the latter number gets, the less I enjoy it. Still, when required, Yua Mikami does a good job of giving pleasure to both her partners at the same time. It makes you wonder how often she was forced to do that in her previous job.

Overall

Our review criteria require me to round to the nearest tenth, so a bit of nuance is lost here. Still, I have to acknowledge that this film is near-perfect and does justify the hype that Yua Mikami received as a result. This one-off became the start of an AV career, which I think may be longer-lived than those of her fallen idol sempais. Yua Mikami was trained in how to play to the camera, so when this skill is combined with her pure sexuality, the resulting movie hits the right buttons at the right times. With Anri Okita’s retirement, I am bereft of an active favorite, but I think I will take a closer look at Yua Mikami’s new films and see if she’s a contender for that spot.

Editorial: Okita Anri's Retirement

Okita Anri (or Anri Okita as she has promoted herself in the west) has been a mainstay of the JAV scene for the last few years.  In the wake of the loss of icons such as Maria Ozawa and Saori Hara, she has taken up the mantle of hottest and most popular Eurasian star.  And while we can debate the merits of the performances of the three, for my money, Okita Anri is by far the hottest.  For that reason and many others, it came as a big disappointment that she announced her retirement from JAV recently.

I won't speculate too much on the reasons behind this.  There are those cynics (or perhaps optimists, depending on your point of view) that think this "retirement" is simply a ploy to go away for a while, boost demand in her absence, and then drive big sales and personal income with her "return".  Then there are those who are super optimistic in thinking she will finally cross over to uncensored western porn glory.  Given her native English proficiency, and her recent promotion and recognition in the US, that's honestly not as far fetched as it would be for most JAV idols, though I don't think it will happen.  We can hope though, because I think one day a huge JAV star will break through to America, one bigger than Marica Hase was in Japan.  On that day they will probably break the internet.  Here's hoping it's Okita Anri.

Of course, she could take the route into alternative forms of entertainment, as some of the biggest idols have done.  Perhaps she will spend some time in Japan's sex industry, though I doubt that will happen in her case.  Then, there's the possibility she will simply fade into obscurity, perhaps returning to her native England.  Maybe she found some rich, handsome gentleman to marry her. Ok, I guess I lied.  I just spent quite a bit of space speculating on why she's retiring.  At any rate, for the time being, we won't know for sure.  Depending on the path she takes, we might never know why she's retiring.  Still, it's worth taking a few moments to reflect on her career.  Okita Anri is a fairly unique JAV idol to begin with, since she is only half Japanese.  Adding to her allure, she is half English, originally from Birmingham, and spent most of her life in the UK.  Thus, perhaps even rarer among JAV idols, she is a native English speaker.  All of these intangible items are great, but when you add them to her gorgeous face and massive Japanese K-cups, she's a total knockout.  Perhaps, when viewed as a complete package, one of the hottest of all JAV idols.  It will be tough to say goodbye to her, though she's had a nice long run since her 2011 debut.

Her retirement film, MIMK-044, dropped on May 13.  We will have a review of it, but suffice to say it is a fine film and certainly a necessary addition to collectors of her work.  I won't say that Okita Anri was one of my top personal favorites, but she was a very worthy part of my collection, and I was very happy to amass a respectable array of her films.  She will be sorely missed by me and JAV fans the world over.  On a general note, this is a very interesting and transitional period for JAV.  The losses of Okita Anri and Ai Uehara have hit hard.  Plus, the reality is that Julia, Shinoda Ayumi and Hitomi are closer to the end of their careers than to the beginning.  Most JAV idols do not stay in the business for long, but the huge stars do tend to have a good run.  But while I do hold out some hope that Hitomi might do western uncensored as her career winds down, the reality is that most of these stars will not cross over, nor have comebacks.  This is a painful lesson that all JAV fans must accept.

While there are tons of new girls debuting all the time, it takes someone really special to rise to the top of the elite.  I look forward to see who will start dominating and take up the mantle left by those retiring.

Review: DV-731 Yuma Asami Sex Cheering!

Introduction

By some estimates, modern JAV was born at approximately the same time that the Western porn industry began to emerge. So far as I’ve been able to determine, JAV first reached the West at about the same time as Japanese anime and in the same way, via VHS tapes brought overseas, then copied and distributed via the networking of the 80s nerds. Uncomprehending yet fascinated, JAV was a curiosity item that, unlike anime, did not become a status item of 1990s hardcore nerd cred. However, just like its compatriot, it did benefit from the rise of the internet and the explosion of download speeds, as superstars like Maria Ozawa, Yuma Asami, and Sora Aoi first entered the awareness of a crowd that had become interested in Japanese culture and then grown to desire more.

In order to provide a larger view into JAV, I decided to make my first review one of the older movies that came to the West in that initial wave and certainly got me into the whole thing.



The Actress

Debuting in 2005 when she was barely eighteen years old, Yuma Asami took the JAV industry by storm, and by 2006 was the Number 1 actress. That isn’t an exaggeration; in 2006 and 2007, she was at the top of the industry in terms of sales and rentals, a feat that to the best of my knowledge hasn’t been repeated in recent memory.

Now, what is it about her? Yumachin, as her fans in Japan call her, rose to stunning heights and she is my all-time favorite JAV actress, a status not bestowed lightly. Physically, her attractiveness is indisputable. Her breasts are large and shapely (rejoice, readers, that bosom was made by God and has not been mutilated by human hands). Her waist is tiny; her butt is round and well-defined. Unlike her contemporary Maria Ozawa and modern superstars such as Anri Okita and Julia, Yuma Asami is 100% Japanese, her wide, large eyes set in a heart-shaped and lovely face.

Her physical assets and sexual abilities pale in comparison to her charisma. Through a combination of her genuine personality and her performer’s instinct, Yumachin’s charm overwhelms even the most jaded viewers. Even if she simply laid back and thought of Japan (spoilers: she doesn’t), you’re perfectly ok with it.

The Performance

I referred to this before, but Yuma Asami’s instinct for performance is top class. She’s able to take her role, whichever it happens to be, and play it to fulfill both the natural expectations as well as the perverted fantasies lurking inside the mind. DV-731 is a collection of six vignettes, delivering a variety of sexual content right where her audience wants it to hit. Her acting ability makes it easy to believe she’s anything from a strict, exacting teacher to a cheeky, barely legal cheerleader in the span of ten minutes. Again, not an exaggeration: the film opens with a greeting from her in full cheerleader memorabilia, comporting herself exactly the way an 18 year old cheerleader would act, then transitions to the first scene, as Asami-sensei, sternly teaching (and enunciating) English with only a mild accent, strides through her classroom with absolute authority and complete confidence.

As for her sexual skills, those can be summarized with the same words: absolute authority and complete confidence. Even when she, apparently, surrenders the initiative, she’s still in charge. The sex looks and feels perfectly natural, something your ears will appreciate.

Story/Theme/Setting

There are six scenes, each one with Yumachin in a different role: teacher, office lady, tease, girlfriend, “health” provider, cheerleader. As expected, each scene delivers differently. The first encounter with Yuma Asami is completely non-sexual: cheerleader Yumachin greets the audience, she cheerfully inquires as to how the viewer feels, verbally anticipates the cynical thoughts most viewers would have, and then reassures them that everything will be ok, which becomes a quick transition through the personas we’ll be seeing throughout, with cheerfulness and seduction underpinning each encouragement to “do your best.”

What follows is a different aura that fits each role. As a teacher, Asami-sensei is strict yet sensual, aware of her own sexual charm and sympathetic enough to her hapless “students” to give them a hand. As an office lady, she’s hardworking and empathetic enough to help her “boss” out with his stress. The scene as a tease is where she playfully toys with the POV male, while as a girlfriend, she’s perfectly content to make fun of her POV boyfriend for looking at a porn magazine at a love hotel, when all the love he really needs is freshly showered and ready for a go. As a health provider, she’s quite devoted to making the POV customer squeaky clean and as a cheerleader, she’s high-spirited in her morale efforts.

If anything, cheerful seduction is the chief theme of the film. In each role, Yuma Asami is energetic and making quite clear that whatever gloom or listlessness the viewer may have (via the actor avatar) will be screwed out by her.

Sexual Content

The sexual content varies with the role Yuma Asami is playing. One thing should be made clear now and is reinforced at different times in the film: Yuma Asami is in control and does not need any of the “wank on her face” to get her colleagues to orgasm. With hand, mouth, and the kingdom of Venus between her legs, it’s nothing more than a directorial convenience that even makes that necessary.

As a teacher, Asami-sensei does a dual handjob/blowjob with her students, with only her cleavage to show for it. That restriction actually makes the scene even hotter, since it makes extremely clear who is in charge. This is a favor granted and one should be grateful. Of course, her hands and mouth are more than enough to reduce both men to sticky messes. As an office lady, Asami-chan provides a full experience that flows quite naturally and easily draws the viewer into feeling he is there. As the tease, she masturbates to titillate, and then only uses her hands and mouth on one fellow and that is more than enough. As a girlfriend, she screws the man to the point where his token facial does not even need a wank for his orgasm to fall on her face. As a health provider, everything except penetration goes, and it’s obvious that it is more than enough as the man blows his load into her hands, just as his predecessor in the previous scene did. As a cheerleader, you get the full service package.

I’ve mentioned it before, but her performer’s instinct renders each role believable and complete immerses you in the flow.

Overall

Yuma Asami’s instinct for a good performance, her obvious enthusiasm and genuine cheerfulness, combine in this movie into knockout blow. She’s the girl next door, the angel in appearance and the devil’s daughter in bed. This movie takes you through a variety of roles, each one quite believable, with a certain note of authenticity behind it. Charm, cheer, seduction, those are the elements she draws upon as a JAV actress and the combination is intoxicating. She may have retired, but her past films are a treasure hoard for anyone who pretends to be a serious fan of JAV.
