Introduction
As my colleague Mr. White noted, swimsuits are visually stimulating. When the viewer sees an attractive woman out in public like that, with only a single strip of fabric between themselves and the world, the imagination may as well be a runaway train to sexual frustration. However, there is one little detail Mr. White forgot or perhaps did not even realize: the impact of the swimsuit on the wearer.
The fabric used in swimsuits must be both soft and considerate of the most sensitive parts of the body. However, clothes are not static. Physical movement causes shifting in position and direct stimulation of places known to induce pleasure. In other words, not only are viewers imagining what is underneath the swimsuit, but the wearers are ignoring low-key sexual stimulation that will never end in orgasm on its own.

The Actress
Mao Hamasaki is actually one of my favorite JAV actresses. She's incredibly good-looking, with a pair of large brown eyes comfortably set above full cheeks set in a heart-shaped face. What's fascinating is that while she is genuinely attractive without make-up, once she applies the woman's arcane sorcery, she can alter the viewer's perception of her beauty from gorgeous to cute to effeminate boy (there’s an explanation for that) to genuine catgirl (make up is a scary thing).
Of course, however the perception of her beauty is manipulated, there are very few ways to manipulate her body. From top to bottom, she is genuinely curvy, not that fat-people-appropriated version, but the genuine full figure men love. Large breasts, narrow waist, shapely buttocks, nice legs, she delivers physically. As you can tell from the name of the film, her posterior in particular is admirable. In terms of sexual skill, she is one of the top actresses, delivering memorable performances no matter what role she plays.

The Performance
Clocking in at one hundred minutes, this is a short, fast movie. Unlike other movies I’ve reviewed so far, the performance is strictly sexual, which is a bit of a waste; Mao-chan is actually very good at creating immersion. Even so, her performance here is memorable. From the very first, when the viewer encounters her, wet from an apparent dip in the pool, it’s very easy to believe that the swimsuit constantly rubbing against her sensitive erogenous zones have driven her into heat, and Mao-chan wants nothing more than orgasm and relief.
Once she begins to interact with her male colleagues, her arousal is balanced with a strong propensity toward mischief and confidence in domination. She may be in heat, but she is perfectly fine with driving any man into a similar sex madness, then denying him relief until she is inclined to do so. She does it with style, fondling, stroking, and licking so as to distract thought and focus attention on sex.

Story/Theme/Setting
The “competitive swimsuit syndrome” might be better understood as “one-piece swimsuit rubs against her clitoris and nipples to the point she goes crazy.” It works until it doesn’t. Mao-chan is only wet, thereby suggesting she has used her swimsuit for its intended purpose, in the opening scene. In addition, she is only in the locker room for half the movie, otherwise re-locating to some fairly well-appointed rooms, the kind where a housekeeper would be outraged that some hussy is sitting on the leather sofa in her chlorine-rich swimsuit.
Still, if the understanding is that moving in the swimsuit will drive her into heat, again, it only really succeeds in the two scenes in the locker room. Mao-chan is otherwise at rest when the viewer enters those stylish rooms mentioned previously, with her agitation only on display during the locker room scenes. Even taken on their own merits, the second “stylish room” scene is the only one that hints at the swimsuit syndrome, with Mao-chan titillating the viewer with some nice swimsuit self-play.

Sexual Content
Moving right along, the opening scene is hot. Mao-chan, in heat from the rubbing from her swimsuit, indulges in an extended masturbation scene which is surprising in its ability to keep going. She begins by rubbing over the swimsuit, then using the flap covering her vagina as a stimulus, transitions to directly fingering herself, before moving to breast self-play. When she returns to digital stimulation, she eventually orgasms and squirts, but that still is not enough. As a clear example that this is not a first-time occurrence, Mao-chan pulls a small dildo out of her(?) locker and resumes playing with herself, licking the little plastic like a real penis before using it on her breasts and using her breasts on it. The action moves to her inserting it into herself, then changes to self-sex. That’s the best term to describe her cowgirl pumping as the dildo attaches to the floor and she has sex on her own. It finishes with her squirting from pleasure once again.
The next two scenes, as you may anticipate, are the “stylish rooms” scenes where Mao-chan demonstrates her dominance. In the first, she focuses on toying with a man, rubbing him with her hands and her swimsuit before finally moving toward a handjob. She intersperses it with some fellatio action, but for all intents and purposes, the man is her hand’s toy, while he focuses on licking Mao-chan’s vagina. Keep in mind, the swimsuit never comes off, so he’s licking over the swimsuit. Mao-chan finishes the job. The following scene follows a similar format, only this time, Mao-chan includes breast play, paizuri, and strips off the top half of her one-piece. Once again, she is the one who finishes the job. As hot as it is, the repetitiveness in the middle does hurt the film.
The last scene is the best, with Mao-chan in heat, hesitating, and relieved of the need to hesitate by a male colleague entering with a speedo and a slight erection. In a way that is aggressive, seductive, and cute, she insists on sex, and while she gets her way, this is not the previous two scenes, where she alone dominates. In this one, she trades control, with her male colleague mandhandling her and she him. There is great foreplay, an excellent fellatio sequence, and aggressive sexual intercourse. The whole thing ends with a creampie, as the camera fades away from Mao-chan’s self-satisfied expression.

Overall
While this film may have missed out on fulfilling its potential, Mao-chan’s performance would make most viewers not mind that overmuch. Her eroticism is fantastic, her energy engages the viewer, and she herself puts in a great performance. If anything, what hurt this film was the filler in the middle. Had one of the two “stylish room” scenes been dropped, preferably the first one, the entire movie would have received a better grade and delivered a much better stimulus to the viewer. It’s a surprising thing to say for an already short movie, but filler hurts the overall presentation and impact. Still, l would say it’s worth watching just for the first and last scenes in the film.
