Introduction
Ever since the bubble economy burst in Japan, irregular and part-time workers have become a common, if uncomfortable, fact. Many of those employment needs are met by staffing companies that dispatch workers to fulfill the needs of clients. Some of those companies provide zaibatsu inheritors with hordes of workers they have terminate at need, while more modest operations send out receptionists or maids.
Japan being Japan, there are obviously niches within those categories, and those were discovered long before Americans decided to monetize topless maids. This being JAV, let’s go one step further into the concept with the Naked Housekeeper Dispatch Office. Their Big Tits Division offers Haruki Satou, so it is fairly clear I’m going to say “yes, please!”
The Actress
As I’ve said before, Haruki Satou is easily overlooked. She’s pretty, but not distinctive. In a crowd, she often lingers towards the back. She’s a little distant, even shy, and lacks the flashiness of her more colorful colleagues.
Even so, her large and beautiful breasts are often kept snug under modest clothing. Her buttocks are nice and her body is attractive. I’m exceptionally fond of her girl-next-door persona and it’s a particularly good fit for this kind of film.

The Performance
The tricky part of evaluating this performance is deciding how well Haruki Satou convinces the audience she really is a housekeeper. For those who don’t do much of their own cleaning, she’s excellent. The opening includes a few seconds of “preview” of the rest of the movie, and Haruki Satou showcases the professionalism, housekeeping skills, and genial attitude she will display for the entirety of the film and in particular with her interactions with her male colleague.
Other than that, this is a section difficult to comment on because there’s only so much to say about someone cleaning naked. She ignores the camera and acts as naturally as any housekeeper going about her tasks. Her nudity makes this titillating because her breasts bounce, her buttocks quiver, and all the other actions we’d never see are on display. This isn’t to say there isn’t a bit of artifice here and there, but it is a JAV film.
On a final note, while her actual housekeeping skills are a bit mixed, Haruki Satou can really cook. I’d eat the meal she prepared.

Story/Theme/Setting
The film begins with the client requesting a housekeeper with big breasts, and when Haruki Satou arrives, she is wearing a trenchcoat… and nothing else. Before she can get to work, she is subjected to a thorough inspection of all of her assets, from her toenails to the nape of her neck (in Japan, the nape of the neck a sensual area in traditional Japanese beauty). Thoroughly satisfied, the client decides to take a test drive, though more on that anon.
About forty-five of the hundred-twenty minutes of this movie are Haruki Satou cleaning in the nude, which is about half as long as the topless maid rentals in the US, so full marks for accuracy. I’ll acknowledge this is distinctly fetishistic, but I do think the film would have been better served breaking up the cleaning into three quarter-hour sections instead of one half-hour and one quarter-hour.
My complaints aside, the film excels at delivering exactly what’s in the title. I’d even go so far as to say that it goes beyond the title. Who can complain about a pretty girl like Haruchin welcoming you back from work naked and on her knees?

Sexual Content
After a thorough hands-on inspection of every hole and other sensual beauty point, the audience avatar requests and receives fellatio. This first entrée in actual sex is where Haruki Satou demonstrates her oral skills. Neither the audience nor the actor is disappointed as our heroine uses her moth and fingers to bring about orgasm. She spits up the evidence and is praised for her talent.
The second sex scene begins with after the extended housekeeping scene, and activities begin with breakfast fellatio. Haruchin is playing with herself during this, but her employer interrupts the fellatio and slides back so he can finish his breakfast. Dissatisfied, Haruchin goes to the couch and sulks, masturbating directly in front of her breakfasting employer. Unable to focus on food, the audience avatar goes to join her, beginning the first foray into intercourse on the couch. Missionary, doggy, sitting reverse cowgirl, and missionary conclude with a creampie, much to Haruchin’s satisfaction.
The third sex scene begins with fellatio and transitions into a mini-soapland, complete with breasts being rubbed on the employer’s back and a thorough cleaning. As there are no orgasms here, this serves as preparation for the next and final sex scene, one that is full service. The actor begins by playing with Haruchin’s breasts and then receives fellatio while our heroine plays with herself. Basic fellatio flows into both kinds of paizuri. What I mean by this is that initially, Haruchin is kneeling, and then she is on her back as the actor rubs himself between her breasts. This is convenient, as it makes it easy to advance into intercourse. This begins in missionary position and goes through doggy, standing doggy, moves on to the sitting reverse cowgirl, and ends in missionary. The actor elects to finish on Haruchin’s face, annoyingly enough.

Overall
This was a surprisingly enjoyable film. While the extended housekeeping sequence was something of a distraction in my case, Haruki Satou does a great job of making the entire experience believable. The niche that enjoys the film’s fetish will give it a perfect score.
For the more average JAV viewer, this film is still good. Haurchin’s acting is quite natural and it is not difficult to see her in her assumed role. Her erotic skills are masterful and deliver a satisfying experience worth watching. I’d go so far as to say her relative plainness helps sell the entire movie, as she makes the entire premise credible.

It’s been a bit of an exhausting time here at JAV2DWEST, with our team cut in half and the themes of the last few months requiring quite a lot of consideration to deliver the best to our readers. To my misfortune, this blog will remain a solo effort for longer than anticipated, so I aim to take it a bit easier in October.
What does that mean in practical terms? Readers will be seeing familiar faces, there should be a new post every week, and I won’t feel quite as harried. In addition, we’re open to viewer recommendations and requests. Ultimately, everyone wins.
Speaking of winning, let’s start with one of my favorites. Back for another showing, the glamorous Anri Okita!
The Actress
I previously monologued about Anri Okita whilst reviewing her debut, but the summary would likely read as “Much busty, very classy, such beauty. Wow.”
More descriptively, Anri-chan is gorgeous, with a heart-shaped face and voluptuous body guaranteed to make every woman in a crowd hate her out of envy. That’s unfortunate, since Anri-chan is elegant and gracious, the kind of woman who wins hearts by her behavior even as her eroticism inspires the lusts of men.
As trivia, Anri Okita is a hafu, with her non-Japanese side originating in England. Surprisingly for a JAV star, she speaks good English. In addition, her breasts are real.

The Performance
If her performance here is only 10% honesty and 90% artifice, Anri Okita is an excellent actress with top-tier girlfriend power. The film begins in the evening, with Anri-chan modestly entering a distinctly stereotypical bachelor abode. Confronted with the inevitable circumstances, she gets to cleaning and bringing order. The film then time skips to the next morning, where Anri-chan cheerfully begins to coax the sleeping gentleman who has no desire to get out of bed. This good cheer then leads to every man’s dream wake-up call, but more on that anon.
Interestingly, there’s a distinctly realistic part after the first sex scene, where Anri-chan feels the contents inside her shift, and hurries to the bathroom.
The rest of the movie has similar performances, such as the following scene, where the gent begins to grope her rear while Anri-chan is washing dishes. As any man who has been in a relationship will tell you, her mildly exasperated tone is exactly correct. While she is acting the girlfriend, Anri-chan is exceptionally sweet, playful, and even modest. There’s nothing overdone in her performance, it hits exactly all the right notes.

Story/Theme/Setting
First, there are only two creampies in this movie, so I feel a bit deceived. I know Anri-chan had nothing to do with the titles of her movies, but this is like being offered a double-decker cheeseburger and getting a single-patty hamburger.
That is not to say the lovey-dovey part is missed, since the viewer certainly feels like Anri-chan is showering you with attention, whether it’s in the bedroom, while washing dishes, after making breakfast, or even just out on the balcony watching the night. As is common in other girlfriend/wife films, this is shot in POV, which is used well to give the impression that the viewer is there. Early on in the movie, this is used to replicate the feeling of not wanting to get out of bed in the morning, and it is an excellent touch.
Otherwise, all of the prerequisites are met, with two scenes in the bedroom, one in the kitchen, one in the bathroom, and as a bonus one out on the balcony.

Sexual Content
The first and last scenes are excellent, but the three scenes in the middle disappoint, given the expectations set.
Anri-chan’s first lovey-dovey creampie scene begins with a man’s dream of wake-up fellatio. As she demonstrates her skill, the action slowly shifts toward a 69 where both participants enjoy themselves. Once they’ve warmed up, Anri-chan mounts her lover and begins intercourse in cowgirl position. In this scene, she mostly sticks with this position, with a couple shifts toward doggy and missionary before she concludes in cowgirl position. After the creampie, she performs the legendary clean-up fellatio. JAV is all about fantasy fulfillment and this scene praiseworthy for its accomplishment.
The second scene begins as Anri-chan washes dishes. As the gent moves from groping her bottom to fingering her, Anri-chan takes charge and gives fellatio, which moves to a paizuri that ends with all of it on her breasts. There is a second clean-up fellatio to finish the scene off. After the full course meal in the previous scene, this feels a bit unsatisfying.
The third scene is in the bathroom and begins with mutual touching. Anri-chan moves toward fellatio, some paizuri, resumes fellatio, and finishes the audience avatar with her hands. No clean-up fellatio this time, and it feels as unsatisfying as the previous scene.
The fourth scene is on the balcony, so it’s outside sex at night! Kind of. Unfortunately, there’s no penetration. After some initial groping by the gent, Anri-chan finds herself partially disrobed and moves to give fellatio. What follows is intracrural and intra-gluteal sex, which ends with a combo between-cheeks handjob. Anri-chan disposes of the evidence with a clean-up fellatio. Are we noticing a certain pattern, viewers?
At last, the finale. The audience avatar begins by thoroughly playing with Anri Okita’s breasts and bottom, moving on to digital play as he fingers her relentlessly. Anri-chan then begins with a handjob, proceeds to an aggressive fellatio, pauses briefly at a 69, then moves on to passionate intercourse. First is missionary, where Anri-chan squirms in pleasure as the actor keeps a firm grip on her arms to make sure she doesn’t end up bouncing away, so to speak. Cowgirl and reverse cowgirl soon follow, succeeded by one of the most natural transitions toward doggy style I’ve seen. The final creampie is delivered in missionary position, followed with a look at Anri-chan’s bliss, and the inevitable proof-of-creampie leg spread.

Overall
This film is something of a mixed bag. Anri Okita’s acting is excellent, as the domestic scenes successfully suspend disbelief and make the viewer feel that Anri-chan is involved in a lovey-dovey lifestyle in this cohabitation scenario. The first and final sex scenes are up to par with her usual erotic performances. Unfortunately, it’s the filler sex in the middle that makes for an unsatisfying experience. It’s a bit appalling to have to call anything related to Anri Okita filler sex, but that’s just the impression one gets with such unsatisfactory nibbles of her gourmet feast.
If you’re a fan of Anri Okita or girlfriend/wife style films, this is a fair addition to your collection. Otherwise, this is an average film from a superior actress. The potential was certainly there. Anri Okita’s acting is probably on par with Yua Mikami’s. By my lights, the director did not put much of an effort into delivering an excellent film, so Anri-chan got shortchanged as a result. Even if the average JAV actress can only aspire to Anri Okita's "average," that still leaves her fans a bit dissatisfied.

EBOD-206: E-BODY Exclusive Debut - Beautiful Girl Tia From The Southern Island

Introduction
As a label, E-BODY builds its films around a gimmick, one that Mr. White adores beyond words. The trick? Large breasts, real or otherwise. It took them a while to hit on that winning formula, but once they did, they never stepped away from it. Interestingly, E-BODY has tended toward far fewer debuts than other labels, tending to hire established busty stars over trying to build followings for their own. Even so, they have debuted a number of successes over the years, along with girls whose careers foundered early. It’s almost as if an E-BODY debut is tantamount to starting out cursed.
Besides Julia, Honoka Orihara (under the name Mitsuki Akai),Marina Shiina, Sakura Kirishima, and most recently, Sara Saijou, NAOMI and Nene Sakura, have defied the curse to advance into reasonable careers. Is there another, one who followed in Julia’s footsteps to mega star status? Yes. That name is Tia and the subject of this review.
In contrast to many other stars, Tia is monogamous. In other words, she’s a contract star who is faithful to her label until her contract is near expiration, and then goes to whomever promises to treat her best. She began under E-BODY, went over to S1 No.1 Style, and has recently returned to E-BODY. Her debut should shed some insights into why these top dogs want to keep her all theirs.
The Actress
A native of Okinawa, the Japanese Hawaii, Tia is one of those stars who causes me conniptions. Unlike Mr. White, I find it nearly impossible to enjoy actresses who have surgically altered their bodies. Aside from the philosophical considerations, plastic surgery provokes the uncanny valley effect, so my enjoyment quickly withers as my subconscious points out how unnatural the sight before me is.
Like Hasumi Kurea, Tia’s breasts are completely fake. Unlike Butterface McBolton, Tia never needed it. High cheekbones, expressive brown eyes, and a particularly regal nose make the best of her heart-shaped face to produce distinctive beauty. Her slender frame used to have a perky pair of breasts to round off her frame, but now she has her iconic pair of implants. The only bright sides are that her nipples are a light pink and her posterior is rather nice.
On top of being a beauty, Tia-tan is incredibly cute. She begins the film in a hairband topped with a giant pink bow and a flower-decorated sundress, and the viewer can’t help but ask her not to go home with strangers.
For those intrepid hunters, there is existing footage of Tia’s original body during her amateur days, right before she went under the knife. Good luck finding it.

The Performance
As much as I hate those offenses to all that is good about bosoms, Tia is a talented performer. Her introduction in the film was a “casual encounter” outside a convenience store at night. She was sitting on a bench when the cameraman “spotted” her, stopped the van, and went out to chat with her. The good cheer and energy she applied to the scene was incredibly natural, and quickly tested in the unlikeliest of ways. Before the scene began, a random passerby had sat down on the other end of Tia’s bench, and once the cameraman began the show, the passerby was doing his best to edge out without being spotted. After the cameraman decided to up the awkwardness by talking to the hapless passerby, Tia quickly defused the situation with a few words and a great big smile.`
This upbeat attitude is present throughout the subsequent interview and the date scenes. Yes, date scenes, as this debut elects to be non-traditional in format and sends our heroine out on a pair of dates in Okinawa. The beach scene and forest hike allow Tia to us her charming, playful manner in a way that disarms at least one of her male colleagues and gets him to follow her pace. I consider that fairly impressive, considering how jaded a male JAV actor must get after dealing with so many women.
Tia also plays the wanton reasonably well, but it’s a bit overdone. It was as if she was trying to portray what she thought was slutty behavior, which was so stereotypical that it was a bit distracting after so much of her performance was so natural. Once she begins enjoying herself, however, that changes.

Story/Theme/Setting
Coming in a hair under 120 minutes, Tia’s debut is probably the shortest of the ones I’ve seen, on par with Julia’s. However, Tia spends twenty minutes warming up with an interview across three locations before she begins losing clothing.
There are several short glamour segments where Tia shows off her body, set to music a bit better than what appeared in HItomi’s debut, but what I find more interesting is that at the start of each scene, there is an interaction where the viewer learns more about Tia. It seems that for this debut, the director elected to spread out the “getting to know you” stage of your typical debut in a way similar to the real life phenomenon of summer love.
The novelty of this approach turns the entire film into getting to know Tia, as the buildup is made into something more natural and digestible. The viewer falls under her spell as Tia’s charm works its magic for close to two hours. For the cherry on top, the last minutes of the film are a shadowy glamour section.

Sexual Content
In her debut, sex with Tia-tan falls into the category of “girlfriend experience.” It’s an accurate description of how Tia blurs the boundaries between her job and herself. A good example of this is the way her charm creates a degree of emotional intimacy that pierces the defenses of at least one of her male colleagues.
Her first sex scene begins with one of her colleagues feeling her up and getting her engine going. After she’s warmed up, The scene progresses through fellatio, cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, and missionary before culminating in a facial, but it’s worth noting Tia’s fellatio. She makes constant eye contact and her smooth movements are coupled to keen observation towards mutual pleasure. It’s rare to see that kind of consideration in JAV.
The next scene involves sex on the beach and it’s my favorite one. I know that in real life, it’s supposed to be messy and unsatisfactory, but damned if Tia doesn’t make it look fun. After playing in the waves, Tia receives cunnilingus, which she quickly reciprocates with that same thoughtful fellatio, although the male actor ends up splitting the fellatio into two sections as he uses Tia’s breasts for paizuri and Tia’s buttocks for gluteal sex. The second fellatio advances into standing doggy, which then moves down to another round of fellatio, then 69 oral sex, then it’s reverse cowgirl, sitting cowgirl, standard cowgirl, before concluding with standing doggy, where the male actor ejaculates on Tia’s buttocks. The intensity through so many shifts is constant and works incredibly well. As the conclusion, Tia chooses to toy with the fellow a bit and counterattacks, applying her fellatio skills to him after his orgasm, which clearly is too much for the actor, as he falls down and tries to get away.
The third scene involves the same actor as the previous scene and very clearly takes directly after the previous scene. Tia has quite clearly charmed the male actor at this point and initiates mutual groping that leads to fellatio, paizuri, gluteal sex, and finishes with a fellatio-induced facial.
For the finale, the distractions of sluttiness are dispensed with once Tia gets down to business. Fellatio, missionary, doggy, and more missionary are conducted with aggressive pursuit of pleasure and conclude with another facial and another post-ejaculation fellatio, though the male actor in this scene was better disciplined about it.

Overall
Tia’s twin set of lies make it nearly impossible for me to enjoy her work, but that isn’t to say that her performance is bad. Thought was put into this debut, creating an experience that mixes real-life summer love phenomenon, girlfriend experience, and JAV to produce a great film. There are precious few films that chose to be adventurous within the genre, and this one clearly exceeded expectations.
As for Tia herself, her contract star status all began here. The quality of her first film merged with Tia’s charm and talent to create the pathway to a good career, E-BODY debut curse be damned. It’s likely that her consideration for her colleague’s pleasure contributed to her rise, as the more real the pleasure, the easier it is for viewers to buy into the fantasy.

Introduction
In keeping with our look at debut works this month, I thought I'd turn my attention to Shibuya Kaho, who has risen in just under two years to become a major star in the JAV industry. Her career path has been a bit non-traditional, leading some suggest that is the very reason for her success. She initially debuted with a good, if unspectacular, run of films under Alice Japan, before jumping ship over to Idea Pocket. Mr. Tan previously reviewed her first film under the Idea Pocket label, which was supposed to be the first of many but turned out to be the first of just three, as she broke her contract and has since gone freelance, with a commensurate explosion in the number of films as well as in popularity.
From the fan's perspective, contract girls can have pros and cons. Depending on the company, they may play it safe, offering reliable, if uninteresting releases. On the plus side, you will get to see the star go through the various themed series that label has, which can be good fun. Freelancers (at least the major and popular ones) on the other hand can be all over the place, offering variety while at the same time offering a mixture in quality. I tend to think of freelancers like a salad bar, where I'm getting many choices but not all genres will personally appeal to me. Contract girls on the other hand are perhaps more like a steak, I'm going to be satisfied, but I'm going to get exactly what I expect pretty much every time. Overall, I think a good JAV fan will find himself having a mix of contract girls and freelancers in the collection, with all they offer.
Getting back to the topic at hand, Shibuya Kaho is known for her very raunchy, slutty, and whorish style of acting as opposed to the restrained or demure qualities shown by other actresses. Perhaps the best comparison in style (as well as body type to some degree) would be Ruri Saijo. So I was interested to go back to the very beginning of her career and discover if she started with this style from the outset, or was perhaps more restricted.
Personally, I don't find Shibuya Kaho's face to be ridiculously beautiful. Of course she's attractive, but perhaps for me she tends to be on the "cute-hot" side as opposed to the beautiful, glamorous, or even just raw sexual smoking hot side. Her face is very pleasing but somehow it personally doesn't suit my tastes in terms of ultimate attractiveness. I guess I could compare her to Hitomi in that regard, pretty but not gorgeous face, but when combined with the body and performance, a real winner.
Moving on to her body, all I can say is "damn". She's got a great set of big natural tits, definitely in the elite tier of big naturals in JAV. She has some nice curves and is thick in the right areas, including a deliciously plump ass. I wouldn't call it a perfect body, because I suppose she could stand to be a little tighter in the midsection to give her a better "S-line", but I can't complain. There are plenty of JAV idols that have that body type, so having one that is a bit thicker in a good way like Shibuya Kaho makes for good variety.
What really helps her out are her performances. You will find very few, if any, JAV idols capable of oozing out the raw, raunchy, slutty charisma that Shibuya Kaho has. If I'm rating her solely on her physical attributes, she comes up a bit short of perfect, but if I'm reviewing the total actress, including her face, body, and abilities, I have no choice but to give a perfect score.

The Performance
Given my experience with the great performances I've seen from Shibuya Kaho, my standards for what I expected here were pretty high. I was willing to be a little lenient given that it is a debut, but still I was expecting a lot. What I found particularly interesting here were some of the subtle hints that would foretell how amazingly slutty an actress she would become. For debuts, actresses tend to be a bit more restrained and shy, and while our lovely lady does not go full-on raunchy like in her later films, there are clues to the greatness she was going to reach. For example, during one scene while the male actor is sucking on one of her tits, Kaho-chan proceeds to shove her other tit into her mouth and suck on it at the same time. I honestly can't recall ever seeing something like that in a debut film. There aren't too many moments like that, but when there are, they are pretty great.
This leads to me to speculate on her career path. Was she more subdued in this film simply because it was her first time? Or, was she ready to go all out but her sexuality was restricted by the filmmakers? It's hard to say. But definitely, if you compare her early Alice Japan era to basically everything she did after that, there is big change in the sexual intensity of her performances. Did she just gain confidence and develop her style, or did she have it from the beginning but needed to change labels to have the freedom she needed? I would guess the latter, but that's just a gut instinct.
Getting back to the film at hand, there is a large degree of passiveness, which is typical for a debut. But even when just laying back and getting pounded, Kaho-chan delivers convincing performances. Her charisma shines throughout the film and her various sexual skills are top notch. Overall, I would say this is a fairly excellent performance, considering it's a debut. However, it still pales in comparison to her later performances, which is typical of debuts as well.

Story/Theme/Setting
When it comes to debuts, for this category I am grading them based on how good of an example of the debut genre we get. The film opens with an interview and striptease sequence, which for me is always a nice way to examine the physical attributes of the actress before we get down to business. I also appreciate that once we move to the first sex scene, our actress loses all of her clothes. Overall, there is a good variety of sex acts on display and an excellent amount of sexual content in the two hour film. As a result, I think I'm getting everything I want as far as a debut goes. This works pretty well as a showcase and introduction to Shibuya Kaho.

Sexual Content
The amount of sexual content is fantastic. Other than the introductory striptease and interview, this film is pretty much all sex. Again, we don't get see Kaho-chan at her very sluttiest, nor do we get to see some of the more extreme sex acts, but we are still presented with a nice variety. The first sex scene actually has no penetration, but surprisingly I loved it. There is a great amount of breast worship with fonding and sucking, including some fantastic close-up camera angles. We also get a fair amount of pussylicking and get some more great camera shots of the actress. This is as close as we viewers might come to exploring all of her body with some foreplay, and it's done really well.
The next scene introduces us to her blowjob skills, and we get to see her fucked as well. I really appreciated that the male actor spend a lot of time fondling and squeezing her breasts during this sequence, and we also get a few nice closeup shots of them again. There's a good variety of sex positions as well, followed by a finish all over her magnificent tits.
From there, we move into a nice blowjob/tittyfuck sequence, a good deal of which is shot in POV, and again, it's excellent. The final full sex scene features a great variety of positions and ends with an excellent facial. In a curious choice, that doesn't end the movie, as we are treated to a short closing segment of the actress pleasuring herself both digitally and with a sex toy. Normally, I would find this boring and/or anti-climactic. But Kaho-chan's acting is so good that I actually enjoyed watching her. The POV angle and her talking to the camera were also great as well. So I suppose, rather than being the film's climax, this scene is more of a bookend to the larger film, and serves as a preview to the raw sexuality just waiting to be unleashed by this actress.
Overall, the sex is plentiful and great. I wouldn't say it was amazing, or the hottest thing ever, but it was very, very good.

I really expected this film to be too plain and underwhelming compared to what I'm used to from Shibuya Kaho, and certainly, compared to her current work, this movie is not as good. But I'm surprised to say that I still really enjoyed it. I have to consider this to be an excellent debut. The filmmakers avoided any of the common mistakes that are found in bad debuts, and the actress gives a great performance. As a result, this one is a must own for Shibuya Kaho fans, and highly recommended for all other fans of JAV, especially big tit lovers.

Introduction
The genre of debut films can be satisfying while at the same time frustrating. On the one hand, there is nothing more satisfying than discovering a hot new actress. But on the other hand, debut films often lack a large amount of sex, instead opting for a tease of delayed gratification and buildup. While that certainly does have artistic and erotic value, it doesn't have a whole lot of replay value. Unless there was an unusually awesome debut film, it's rare for me to go back to a debut once an actress has put out a lot of other great films. Compared to other genres of JAV, going back to an actress's debut can seem a little too basic once you've seen her explore the more hardcore or erotic themes that are commonplace. With that in mind, I decided to go back and take a look at the debut of my absolute favorite JAV idol: Julia.
I can honestly say I haven't watched Julia's debut film in years, to the point where I've pretty much forgotten it. So I return to it with a clean slate, ready to see if it has stood up to the test of time, or if Julia's subsequent work is just so far better almost to make her debut seem primitive by comparison. Let's find out.
The Actress
As Mr. Tan alluded to in his review of one of Julia's films in August, some other commitments have temporarily limited my time to contribute to this blog. So it was with a mix of excitement and fear that he surprised me by taking a look at one of her movies. While I felt he was a little harsh on his opinion of her face, overall he had no choice but to highly recommend the film he saw, which naturally pleased me. As readers of this blog may know, Julia is the actress that really got me to develop JAV fandom.
As readers of this blog will also know, I struggle to be objective when it comes to Julia. She utterly dominates my collection, she's a certified pro with her bedroom skills, and it's hard for me to conceive of getting tired of her.
When taking a look at this debut, I immediately noticed the title, which referenced her large hips and tiny, tiny waist. Obviously, I really enjoy her tits which I find to be the greatest of all time. But one of the reasons her tits seem so awesome is due to the fact that her slender frame and small waist make them appear even bigger. To me, Julia has the ideal body ratio: small frame, big tits, and a pretty good sized ass with a firm shape.

The Performance
Right off the bat, I can see that this film follows an unusual format for a debut. Simply put, there is no buildup, it's right into the sex from the outset. I'll go into my detailed thoughts about that below, but in this section I'm focused only on Julia's performance. The reason why I bring it up though, is because this format does not give Julia any opportunity to seduce the viewer. There are no teases, or slow undressing segments, we just get right down to business.
Because the film lacks the more seductive and erotic elements that most debut films have, Julia is not exactly given an opportunity to deliver a great performance. I can't exactly fault her for that. Julia can't be blamed for the lack of chances to have any acting, seduction, or on-screen charisma. So in order to rate her performance, I have nothing to consider but the quality of her sex skills.
Julia delivers some great blowjob segments and her moaning and acting during sex is on point. She does a great job of working her body when she can and is facially expressive during sex. She definitely doesn't take a lazy approach. I would've liked to see her take control a little bit more, but overall her sexual prowess is satisfying.
Even though it may not be 100% Julia's fault, I still have to subtract for the lack of charisma and seduction on display. In this film, I feel like I'm not getting the "real" Julia. In fact, the low amount of dialogue from her is a bit jarring. She makes up for these flaws with some good components of sex though. This movie is a satisfying example of seeing Julia get fucked, but not much else is going on here.

Story/Theme/Setting
In terms of measuring the execution of this debut versus other debuts I've seen, I have to rate this one as a failure. The title itself makes reference to Julia's killer body measurements, yet there is no chance provided to examine her assets. I would've loved a classic debut-style striptease, nude interview, posing, etc. but there's none of that here and it's a real shame.
This movie quickly jumps into sex, and then quickly again from scene to scene with little or no context or setup. In fact, the viewer would have no way of knowing this was a debut film! While the sex is good in the movie, in terms of the elements I look for in a good example of the debut genre, this film is lacking. It's funny, because sometimes I watch a debut and feel they are too slow in getting to the sex, but this film gets to the sex way too fast. I would've really loved some solo glamour scenes with the lovely Julia. I would say there's a decent film here overall, but a terrible execution of the debut genre.

Sexual Content
Although this film fails as a debut, the actual sex is very good, albeit with a few flaws. The very little amount of titfucking is also disappointing, because Julia gives some amazing paizuri service in other films. But the biggest crime of all is the first scene, which largely hides her tits and leaves her mostly clothes while she is getting banged. I could understand if we were going for a slow progression here, but since the movie goes right into the fucking immediately, I expect Julia's clothes to come off. I also don't appreciate the fact that instead of ending with a facial, the guy ejaculates all over Julia's neck. Was she a bit prudish when it came to cum in the beginning of her career? Certainly makes me wonder.
Things improve in the next scene thanks to some nice camerawork and close-ups of Julia's wonderful bouncing tits while she is on her knees delivering a blowjob and titfuck. Thankfully, this scene ends with a proper facial. From there, the film moves to the next scene which has some nice closeups of Julia's ass and pussy, as well as some nice shots of her body while she is fingered and eaten out. This then moves to sex, which includes some fantastic cowgirl positions and more close up shots of Julia's tits. The scene concludes on a satisfying note with another good facial while Julia sucks out every last drop of cum. Following this is a short but entertaining scene where Julia gets covered in oil while getting her tits and pussy played with.
We then move on to the closing scene, which has more quality camerawork with some love to Julia's tits shown once again with more close ups. There's a good amount of breast worshiping here on the part of the male actor, and Julia is in great form with her blowjob skills. From there, there's more fantastic cowgirl sex and some slightly aggressive doggystyle pounding, which was a nice touch. The scene closes with missionary and a cumshot into Julia's mouth, which she eagerly laps up with her tongue.
Overall, the camerawork in the sex scenes is really great with special attention paid to Julia's tits. The quality of the sex is also very good. My only complaint here is the excessive amount of clothing in the opening scene.

From start to finish, this movie was a poor job at a debut. In fact, the only reason I enjoyed it when it first came out was probably due to the hotness of Julia and the very good quality of the sex scenes, coupled with some brilliant camerawork. But sadly, this one does not stand the test of time and cannot compare to her newer work, or even many of her other early films. Unlike other poor debut films, the failure here is not due to it being boring or lacking enough hardcore elements. Here, it's because of a poorly handled introduction to the actress and a lack of opportunities to get to know her as a performer. I struggled to find even a single line of dialogue from Julia. It's a real shame that such an elite JAV idol had such a poor debut in that sense. Still, I can't ignore the fact that the sex scenes are really good for the most part and Julia's blowjob efforts are top notch.
For the final verdict, can I recommend this movie? Certainly I think Julia collectors will want to have it because I think most JAV fans like the idea of owning the debut of their favorite idols, even if it's just for collectible purposes. For everyone else, while I think there are many better Julia films out there, I think this one is worth a look. The sex scenes are satisfying and it's a nice glimpse into the beginning of her career.

Soft On Demand has debuted many superstars, including amongst others Saori Hara, Aimi Yoshikawa, Sakura Mana, and China Mastuoka. I had the debuts for all of the aforementioned stars, and I had almost decided to go through each of them this month. However, I felt that would be a disservice, since that would introduce a bias into the data. Instead, I decided to limit myself to one film from that label.
The winner ended up being HITOMI aka Hitomi Tanaka, an eight-year veteran who has made limited forays into the West. Currently, she’s one of the iconic examples of the JAV industry, recognized on sight by most anyone with an internet connection. In an amusing example of marketing fibs, this film was supposedly the “first and last IMPACT of her J-cup bust and Well-shaped waist and hip!” Of course popular demand for this film was so great she changed her mind in days, returned to SOD, and helped churn out a new film within four weeks. For the less perceptive of our correspondents, that previous sentence was sarcastic.
Let’s examine this film and see if it was worth the hubbub.
The Actress
Unlike Julia, I remain apathetic in regards to Hitomi. I don’t think she’s a butterface, but on the flipside, I don’t find her all that pretty. It’s not that her features are asymmetrical or otherwise ugly. I mentioned in my Haruki Sato review how the hot glamour babe tends to have a less-attractive-yet-still-pretty friend, and Hitomi is another one who falls into that category.
Yes, this is even with her massive breasts accounted for. Certainly, they are, as Mr. White called them, “titanic,” but that’s not a commendation in and of itself. Boobpedia claims that RION’s breasts and body are similar to Hitomi’s, but I do think that particular contributor needs a prescription for new glasses, since whatever RION’s flaws as a performer, her body is nigh-perfect, and far better than HItomi’s.
On the flip side, no one would ever claim Hitomi is bad at her work. She can be quite enthusiastic, as anyone who saw her collaboration with Anri Okita can testify, and I still fondly recall my first encounter with her online, a video of her having sex at the beach (a scene I subsequently learned came from her second film). Note I said at the beach, since the action was inside a white van. Who would have known that the sex offender van is the same in both Japan and in the West?

I mentioned previously that Anri Okita was born to be a gravure model, so it’s interesting how the scenes by an actual gravure model turned JAV idol feel a bit inferior to those made by a complete amateur. However, I am confident that the fault lies completely with the director, Keita★ No.1.
Hitomi is consistently positive in the two hours and eighteen minutes of her debut, typically smiling in non-sex and non-gravure scenes. It’s a charmingly girl-next-door quality in a woman whose breasts essentially predetermined the course of her career. It’s too bad the whole thing is just so… mediocre. During the gravure scenes, she wears this bovine expression that works at cross-purposes to the titillation aspect. I suspect that with breasts so large, there was less of a need for her to express sultry seduction at will.
Still, at least she’s enthusiastic during sex. Too bad there’s not much of it.

My sense of humor is a dry and vestigial thing, so I found the scene where Hitomi’s breasts are poked by four plastic sticks for an extended period of time… imbecilic. I’ll not be impressed with a metal rod being applied under her breasts or by a stomach massager being wrapped around her waist and activated to jiggle her breasts. The music used during the gravure scenes sounds like hip hop from the 90s, so while Mr. White would love it, my reaction is a shrug. Surely a major label like Soft On Demand has some connections in the Japanese music industry capable of providing better?
The buildup is an important element of AV debuts, but this payoff is inadequate. The whole film coasts on Hitomi’s breasts, even though that thought had not occurred to the actress herself.

Here, the director decided that Hitomi was not to be seen fully naked until ninety minutes into the one-thirty-eight minute film. The argument could be made that there is more sexual content than non-sexual content, but the covered breasts make it a disappointment. The first sexual scene, half an hour in, involves Hitomi’s breasts being wasted. Time is wasted on “nipple sex” where the actor’s penis is put inside her swimsuit top and rubbed against her nipples, before it moves to a paizuri and ends with the contents in between Hitomi’s cleavage. Her nipples are never seen and her expression is indifferent.
Her first full sex scene, briefly referenced in the introduction to this section, does show her censored vagina, and does that charming underwear-pulled-aside-not-off fetish I enjoy in moderation, but once again, no nipples. This is something of a cardinal flaw in a movie debuting a woman marketed on her breasts. Still, that is on the director’s head, since Hitomi gives some aggressive fellatio and vocalizes her pleasure quite well.

Had this truly been a one-and-done scenario in the style of Yua Mikami, I would speculate that its mediocrity would have prevented Hitomi from having a career in JAV. Fortunately, Soft On Demand’s marketing fibbed, and Hitomi was most likely securely signed for many more films. The busty starlet would go on to deliver far better films with great performances.

Introduction
Back when I reviewed Yua Mikami’s debut, I wondered aloud if there was some undefined quality in specific debuts that telegraph nascent superstars. After all, Yua Mikami’s debut was supposed to be a one-and-done deal, yet she won the best newcomer award off of that standalone effort and was convinced to return.
Originally, Mr. White and I had planned to sample the AV Open. The AV Open is a massive barrage of JAV, timed for September, where all the labels fire off a few dozen films. Mr. White’s crises decided me against that course, since there’s no way I’ll be able to handle that by myself. Instead, I elected to review a few superstar AV debuts and see if I can identify any noteworthy characteristics.
First up: Anri Okita.
The Actress
I mentioned previously that Anri Okita was my favorite before she retired. One glance at the title of her AV debut, Mankind's Strongest Hundred Million Yen Body, only touches the tip of the iceberg about why I like her so much. From the crown of her head down to the soles of her feet, Anri-chan is the sort of beauty who turns heads in a crowd. Admittedly, RION has the same, but Anri-chan radiates confidence, elegance, and sophistication. On top of that, she does not consider her beauty an excuse for boorish behavior; her social media profiles demonstrate consistent graciousness in her interactions with her fans.
Going back to her physical attributes, Anri-chan is a hafu, with origins in Mr. White’s native England, where she was raised. She owns a heart-shaped face of uncommon beauty and a voluptuous body, by which I mean the original meaning of the word, not the bastardized appropriation the fat women of the West use to ruin it for everyone. Unusually for an Englishwoman or a Japanese woman, Anri-chan has a large and shapely derriere to balance out her fantastic breasts. Her body, like her presence, is sensuality and eroticism.
I’ll address the elephant in the room now. There have been objections that Anri-can is too perfect – the completeness of her physical beauty is so far above most of her peers that it’s easy to doubt nature alone shaped it. I am inclined to think everything came preinstalled, so to speak. Anyone who observes her body over the course of her career will notice that she became plumper as the years went by; her AV debut had her with an hourglass figure, while her retirement video demonstrated a body that had traded that tiny waist for larger breasts and buttocks. Based on that visual evidence as well as her statements confirming her “realness” and wondering why the West loves fakes, she’s a natural delight!

The Performance

There are several segments that would fit better in a gravure film where Anri-chan displays a talent for titillation. The interplay of light and shadow, combined with superior camera work, delivers the kind of result that supercharges the viewer: being teased makes the viewer want her even more.
Anri-chan’s debut was about two hours and twenty-five minutes long and had less directly sexual content than Yua Mikami’s debut, but it’s clear the director chose to have Anri-chan engaged her future fans first. The first glimpse we have of our heroine is the opening gravure-style scene, where the viewer sees that million dollar body, but not her complete face. Anri-chan addresses the viewer in English, talking about her tense state for her first film, and her enthusiasm for the career she’s chosen, and she sounds so genuine the viewer wants to cheer her on. Another scene, also in English, is where Anri-chan describes an ideal sexual encounter, one that many viewers would certainly get into.
Based on this AV debut, Anri Okita is not a natural at showmanship, but she did use her charisma as a sort of cheat code. She may not play to the camera, but the genuine way she interacts with the actors makes the whole experience rather intimate. In addition, when asked questions about what will happen next, she adopts an expression best summarized as “I’m game, let’s do this.”

Story/Theme/Setting
The first time the viewer finally sees Anri-chan’s face is about seven minutes in, as the director focuses most of the camera’s attention on her breasts. In fact, the introductory scene is an extended oil massage, as an actor fondles her breasts in an extended sequence that does not exactly qualify as an interview, I think.
That’s just one way that the execution in this film differs from how AV debuts are usually handled. As another example, the conversations are not always interviewer-interviewed style, but alternate with scenes where the make-up artist is conversing with Anri-chan. It has a delightfully down-to-earth quality that contrasts with our heroine’s natural glamour. Build-up and payoff apparently were not considered primary concerns, as the director seems most interested in introducing her to the masses and getting them to engage with the star. However, some of those stylistic choices, specifically how it influenced the presentation of the sexual content, negatively impact the total.

There are four sexual scenes, two with full penetration, and each one does its best to introduce the viewers to “Sex with Anri Okita.” The first scene is a full service scene, with breast fondling, fingering, fellatio, paizuri, and intercourse. Intercourse includes missionary, cowgirl, and doggy, as well as a memorable sequence where Anri-chan thrusts upward from missionary. Throughout the scene, it’s clear that our heroine is enjoying herself greatly, and not just vocalizing it, but by directly telling her colleague that he’s making her feel good. The sincerity is quite charming, a refreshing change of pace for a jaded JAV consumer.
The second scene is more tease than satisfaction, in the sense that there is no penetration. It begins with a gravure-style sequence, as Anri-chan fondles herself while wearing a white bikini, then transitions to dry-humping, paizuri, and intercrural sex activity. Fellatio ensues, and the scene ends with our heroine using her hand to finish off the actor, in contrast to the previous scene’s “masturbate onto her face” conclusion.
The third scene is Anri-chan’s “perfect” sex scene, and it is the high point of the film. It’s aggressive, erotic, passionate, and scintillating, a league above 95% of other AV debut sexual content. This full service scene is almost perfect; Anri-chan’s supremely satisfied expression would have been the perfect way to end her AV debut. Alas, the actual conclusion is rather disappointing. The final scene is a masturbation sequence, one where Anri-chan aggressively pleasures herself by finger, massager, and vibrator, and her ending expression is tired instead of pleased.

It’s entirely likely this film would have had a perfect score if the director had chosen to move the scenes around: the white bikini as the first sex scene, then the initial intercourse scene, then the masturbation sequence, then Anri-can’s “perfect” sex scene. The impact would have been greater while still preserving the non-conformity of her debut. However, that lies on the director’s head, since Anri-chan herself did an exemplary job in terms of speaking to the audience, interacting with her colleagues, and having sex.
Based on this AV debut alone, Anri Okita displayed great potential, though it would be hard to say this film could have predicted her superstar status. Indeed, the fact it breaks with AV debut conventions should have sank her career from the get-go, but a number of factors rendered that moot. Anri-chan's debut as part of the Fresh Face NO.1 STYLE series bulletproofed her career to a certain extent, while her charisma turned that opportunity into a springboard toward a successful career.
